Apparently they had an officer down - Zürich-fans were stomping on his head.

So, no it's not very usual - actually very rare that the police use their pistols.

No problem untill he called for help and then the police was attacked by 100-150 people. The police had to retreat and felt they were in danger so they pulled out their pistols and shot warning-shots. Then there was quiet and the reinforced police could start arresting the Zürich fans 60-80 people were arrested.

But hey, I have been arrested once and I don't consider myself a hooligan.
I'd just hate if it was abroad - spending a lot of money and then just looking at yellow walls (as I remember the colour was when I spent a couple of hours in there)

I think it might prevent some Brøndby-fans from going to Zürich as most of us don't come to fight but to watch football ;)

maybe swiss police will arrest the bröndby team. because they feel in danger

About the match: Great result. We were shocked when yet ANOTHER central defender was injured - so we played with a totally new defence. Happilly FCZ' attack was nowhere to see - I think you had 1 1/2 chance to score.
2-0 is perfect - to keep FCZ from scoring was a major concern (so maybe that's why FCZ' attack was so weak).
Brøndby will score in Zürich and that will decide the outcome as I don't see FCZ score 4 goals against us.
Oh, and btw. the FCZ players seemed tired or maybe even had an attitude of "oh well we don't care" at the end. Is that a normal moral for the team?

ok, I think we'va all seen the game:
Bröndby was way better then our Team. I think M. Laudrup did a great Job.
One example: Your Kepper was waiting outside the box to avoid our fast Attackers from even trying to score...something no coach in Swiss premier League has found out so far.

What I don't get:
I've been watching europeen soccer for the last 20 years without having seen a team that aggressive* like Bröndby tonight!!
the question is whether the danish soccer is as 'violent' by tradition or was it just part of the tactics tonight?

*by aggressive I'm not just referring to the way the fought their one on one, but also how the reacted swearing after a clearly committed foul?!

In two weeks we'll show you the 'Swiss Way'!
2-0 is nothing...and if only 10% of your supporters will show up in Zurich, we'll sing them down over 90 minutes and our Team will follow!!

Actually the team was frustrated before the match. A completely new defence had to be used as our right back is out, 3!!! central defenders out too.
I hope our captain will be ready in 2 weeks time - he has a broken jaw and will have to play with some kind of a mask ;)
Normally we play MUCH better - quick combinations and so on but tonight the lads had to fight it out.

2-0 is EVERYTHING for a decimated Brøndby-team. When we get 1 or 2 defenders back we'll have no problem against a weak team like FCZ (at least tonight you looked weak - especially the last 10 minutes where it looked like the players simply gave up).

Keita was the only worry - but hey, one player can't make a result on his own.

2-0 is a brilliant result. 1 goal for Brøndby in Zürich and it's game over for you ;)
