Hi I'm a Ghana fan here. I dont understand why some of you feel Afriyie not needed. You need him for his off the ball work your team does better when he's in working hard pressing, duelling etc

I do agree that Afriyie does work hard for the team. However, also efficiency does matter, and with 2 goals in 24 games, a place in the starting 11 is difficult to claim. He scored both goals in a single game, completing 23 without. He needs to be more clinical with his finishes.

Well, he is definitely invited to do so on Wednesday, even though it is only the quarter final!

We are missing an anchor (striker) in front, which reduces our offensive output a lot. It would also facilitate the job of the second “row” of offense, such as Marchesano, Okita, and Afriyie.

Wenn ich sehe wie Winti drauf ist und wie wir rummurcksen, haben wir eigentlich keine Chance. Aber es ist Cup und im Cup wuchsen wir immer wieder über uns hinaus. 4:3 gegen Thun. Cupsiege gegen YB und Basel....

noch nicht gemerkt, dass in dieser Gurkenliga jedes Team mal gewinnt, mal verliert?
Eigentlich ist jedes Team schlagbar und gegen jedes Team kann man verlieren.

Ein Heimspiel gegen Winti und schreiben, man habe keine Chance... naja...

Vor allem spricht auch die Bilanz, sowohl die der letzten Spiele wie der letzten Direktbegegnungen, keineswegs für Winti. Sollten nach wie vor in unserer Reichweite liegen. Zäme in Halbfinal, all in Letzi!

Aufgrund des Heimspiels sollten wir leicht favorisiert sein, mindestens 51:49! Und die Mannschaft braucht sicher nicht besonders motiviert zu werden. Der Sieg liegt also in den Füssen unserer Spieler! Com'on Zürich!

Favorit? Mmmm, bin mir da nicht so sicher. Heimspiel ja (hoffentlich gibts noch ein paar Fans zusätzlich) aber sonst aus meiner Sicht doch eher ausgeglichen - Winti hat seit dem 13.12 nur ein Pflichtspiel verloren-okay viele Unentschieden und knappe Siege aber immerhin- ein Selbstläufer wirds morgen nicht. Hoffe auf ein schönes Spiel und Cupfight

I agree here. I think if Zurich wants Afriyie scoring then it's proven he's scores more (not a huge amount maybe a goal every 3 or 4 or so games) on wing or behind the striker. As a false 9 he ends up working so hard his attacking output drops.... But as we've seen it does help the team and others score
