3 x Test

1. Das Testspiel gegen Lustenau findet am Mittwoch um 14.30 oder 15.00h in Wil statt. Es wird auf dem Hartplatz vom FC Wil gespielt.

2. Ein weiterer Test ist geplant. Am Samstag 22.2. wird in Lausanne gespielt. Der Gegner ist glaubs Lausanne Sports, bin mir aber nicht sicher.

3. Zur Zeit trainiert ein Testspieler aus Ghana mit dem FCZ. Es handelt sich um einen gewissen Charles Taylor, der auch schon Captain der Ghanaischen Nationalelf war oder ist. Kleiner Hacken: Die Sperrfrist für Transfers ist bereits abgelaufen... ;-)

Notes : Part of attacking trio also including Emmanuel Kuffour and Ishmael Addo which fired Hearts of Oak to the treble of domestic league and cup and African Champion's League in 2000. This followed a move from Olympics just prior to the season. Full Ghana international who was part of the Ghana side which reached the final of the 2001 African U/20 Championships to qualify for the World Youth Cup later in the year.

Charles Taylor Goes "Club-Hunting"

Accra Hearts of Oak’s lead striker Charles Taylor is in Switzerland for trials with some Swiss clubs that have been following the exploits of last season’s joint goal king. The player, who has had several trial stints with European clubs, hopes to secure a long-term contract this time around.

Taylor who has been absent from the camp of the national team for about a month now, says he needed to complete arrangements for the trip. He is expected back home after five days. Also on the exodus trail is petit midfielder, Charles Allotey who is in Finland on the same mission.
