Der Engländer dürfte für rund 15 mio Euro nach Madrid wechseln im Sommer nach der WM.
Arsenal defender Ashley Cole has moved to reassure the club's fans by insisting he plans to run out for The Gunners at their new stadium.
Despite being on the sidelines with a foot complaint, Cole has been the subject of intense transfer talk in recent weeks.
Real Madrid are rumoured to be tracking the England international and reportedly see him as the ideal man to replace Roberto Carlos.
Cole could well have his head turned by a huge offer from Real, but the defender says he intends to taste life at Arsenal's new stadium at Ashburton Grove.
"I've got three years left (on my contract) and I'm looking forward to playing in the new stadium," said Cole.
Cole claims he is unfazed by the constant media attention surrounding his future.
"It has been in every paper since the start of the season and there is nothing I can do," he added. "People are going to write stories.
"I have just got to get back fit and that's my main aspiration at the moment, as well as trying to win things with Arsenal."
